Joining The Library
- Membership is free
- Proof of your current residential address is required
- Details of second contact
- Parent/Guardian consent for those under 18
- Visitors may enquire about temporary membership
Borrowing From The Library
- Adults can borrow six items
- Juniors (up to 13 years) can borrow 4 items
- Loan period is 1 month
- Items may be renewed twice by telephone, unless reserved by another borrower.

Requests And Inter Library Loans
If an item in our collection is on loan we can reserve it for you. If we don't have the item or information you want, please ask, and we will try to get it for you from other public libraries in Western Australia.
Approximately 24 library books/items are exchanged every second month, ensuring a current and up to date collection. Special subject or material requests are welcome, please ask during your next visit.
Membership Responsibilities
- Items lost or damaged while on loan must be paid for.
Your library is a public place. Library staff want you to feel welcome, to enjoy your visit and to use as many services as possible.
Public Access Laptop
The Public access laptop computer provides free access to the Internet for research/study purposes.
Photocopying, scanning, laminating is available at the shire office for a charge.
Borrow Box for eBooks & eAudiobooks
Step 1. Online - Log in using this link https://woodanilling.borrowbox.com or Apps - Install BorrowBox app on your device. Select your library and then enter your library Id/Barcode and password/PIN. (see Step 2)
Step 2. Your password is the last 3 numbers & the letter at the end of your barcode on your library card.
Step 3. Borrow - confirm your choice or reserve a title for later.
Step 4. Download the complete eBook or eAudiobook instantly. When reserved titles are ready to download you will receive an email.
